Pink Lady Fire Truck Pull

Join in the fun by putting together a team to pull the biggest, pinkest thing we could find -
the Charlotte Fire Department’s Pink Lady Fire Truck!

This event is a cooperative effort between CMPD’s “Cops 4 the Cure” and CFD’s “Fight to Extinguish”- both aimed squarely at supporting those that are battling cancer and other life threatening diseases.

General Information:
Teams will be made up of 8 people. Teams can compete in 3 categories- all male, all female, or co-ed. We will have trophies for the winning teams in each category. In addition we will have prizes for best team costumes, highest fundraising team, and best team dog.

Teams will pull the Pink Lady 100 feet for time.
Each team will pull her 3 times with their fastest time being the keeper.

We will have lots of activities for the kids in your lives, so drag them along for the pull.
There will also be an area with vendors, music, and other sorts of mayhem.

The cost for each team is $150 with all proceeds benefitting “Cops 4 the Cure”, a non-profit organization formed to support those fighting for their lives as the result of cancer or some other life threatening disease.

What is Cops 4 the Cure?

Cops 4 the Cure Mission:  
Provide support to employees and family members of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department who are affected by cancer, while also promoting and encouraging cancer awareness, prevention and early detection strategies.
